After all, a kids birthday party is never complete without balloons!
Balloons come in a such a huge variety of colors and hues, so they can really create a festive feel to your kids birthday party. Like I said, party balloons are quite inexpensive, so you can 'go all out' and splurge on this staple for your kids birthday party, without breaking the bank!
The two most popular balloons are latex (rubber) balloons and mylar balloons (those shiny metallic looking ones). Each type can be filled with either air, or helium. Using helium will make the balloons to float and fly. If you choose, you can even purchase a helium tank and fill them yourself!
Special tip: Latex helium balloons will only stay floating for about eight hours. So, if you choose to do this, make sure you fill them on the day of the birthday party.
If you really want to get fancy, and if you plan well in advance, you can buy personalized latex balloons.
Depending on your creativity, and the amount of space you have, you can craft cool designs like a colorful rainbow, a floating cloud, or a blooming flower.
Here's terrific idea for your kids birthday party...you can use the balloons as part of your kids party favors!
First, wrap a few candy treats in a small bag and wrap it with foil wrap. Then use the candy packages as weights to hold down the balloons.
When the birthday guests are leaving the party, make sure each child leaves with a balloon and the attached candy favor.
So, when you start thinking about your kids birthday ideas...don't forget the balloons!
