KARAOKE FUN
By Katherine & Greg Hayden Since the time I was a little girl, I have loved to sing. I sang all the way through school and also went to music camp when I was in high school. Singing is a great confidence booster. Believe it or not, the biggest obstacle to singing is believing in yourself. If you sound and look confident while you are singing, people will appreciate your enthusiasm and bravery.
I think one of the best products on the market today is karaoke CD's. They are actually a fairly new concept. When I was going through high school (almost 20 years ago), they were just coming out. Now just about everyone I know has tried karaoke in some form or another. People like to karaoke at parties, to get ready for a singing competition such as American Idol or even for a high school musical tryout, or to brush up on their singing abilities for a night out with friends at a karaoke bar. One of the best times I have ever had with karaoke was at my nephew's high school graduation party a couple of months ago. My husband and his 2 brothers were singing all sorts of different music into the midnight hour and we all laughed and sang along for hours. The pictures are priceless!! Purchase a karaoke CD for an adult birthday party and you will be surprised how many people you thought were shy and reserved that take a chance at the microphone.
Since my kids were little, I have been purchasing all sorts of different karaoke type units ranging from the E-Kara Karaoke Machine to Karaoke CD's that play right through your CD or DVD player. If you put the CD in your DVD player, the lyrics show up on your TV screen and you are on your way to memorizing your favorite songs. You can purchase the CD's by artist, by type of music (pop, rock, country, etc), and you can even purchase Karaoke CD's by the year you were born or by a certain decade of music. It is a fun and entertaining activity for people of all ages and the best part is that it is easy and inexpensive. I hope you have found this article informative.
